The Cure Horror Themed Comic Book Covers

It’s Friday and I’m in love. Actually, it’s Monday and I’m trying to pump enough coffee into my system to counteract the Chinese food and several bottles of wine that we had last night. Don’t judge, we all show love differently. Moving on to the topic at hand, I recently came across these badass cover illustrations from Butcher Billy. I had never heard of his name prior to this, but he is on my watch list now.

If you’re not that familiar with The Cure’s catalog of work, this collection may not be of particular interest to you, but for those of us who are, these covers are what we’ve been waiting for. Properly titled Tales from the Smith, these faux comic book covers pay homage to The Cure’s Robert Smith and horror classics, such as Friday the 13th and Evil Dead.
